lmao at the cover,

that artwork pretty much guarantees Gunn was on something feeling wavy, going through his pics, thought he looked good pulled the photoshop up and announced something now has to put a new tape out.

mad rappers done this in the IG era. whether its songs or tapes.
difference is Gunn actually comes through when he announces shyt.

this shyt going to be like 8 joints of clumsy, dull Daringer beats and Gunn rambling about brands offbeat and I'll enjoy it.

I do think there's something to be said for leaving people wanting more. It's always good to leave the fans satisfied, but not so full that they aren't hungry anymore. But then you gotta walk a fine balance to where they don't forget about you.

Tough call. I do think now that it's harder to make money in the industry that frequent drops can help as long as you don't burn your core fans out.

This here.

A lot of dudes today are worried about being forgotten about because there are so many artists dropping these days. The memory is short. So it's rare to see an MC let you sit with a project for too long before trying to drop another one mad quick. The caveat is, people will definitely get tired of you if you over-saturate the market with project after project. History shows that projects do much better when people have to wait for them. That buildup and anticipation is what creates the hype that makes people support these projects when they finally do drop. It's always dope to get new music, but sometimes it's a lot better to leave people wanting more before you hit them in the head with a new album again. Work the previous project until it's not resonating with the people anymore. That's how classics are built. If you drop too soon, you kinda cheat your previous work out of a chance to grow with more people who might not be up on it yet.

:ohhh:Safe to assume WSG ready to get off that label:whoo:

What type of deal do they have with Shady? Not absolving Shady of anything, but I can’t think of any other major label that would sign anyone to a deal then allow them to release projects independently outside of that deal.
