There was a sample issue. I been telling cats that all these Griselda drops don't have samples cleared. Whoever owned the sample heard the song and filed and cease and desist, so they replaced the beat with a new one.

this project reminds me of Flygod is Good All the Time. on that project his rapping is on point to me, i dont hear this phoning shiit in stuff yall going on about.

I think anyone that releases as often as WSG does is going to cause people to say he's phoning stuff in. Anyone dropping 5-6 projects a year is gonna catch the 'phoning it in' criticisms.

Dare I say he picks better beats than Roc...Roc has become a weirdo at picking beats since Rosebudd pt 1...Kaos was a snoozefest..Dark Horse was divine but Marcielago was subpar...West be consistent always...

I dapped and generally agree, even though I don't really like the beats here on Awesome God 2.

Any Roc Marci blasphemy is not tolerated on The Booth, so I don't expect many cosigns, but with the exception of Dark Horse, I also think Roc's beats have been really weird and experimental since Rosebudd. Which is cool, but I've shifted to thinking his rhymes really carry the songs, and in the past I thought the marriage between the beats and rhymes was a little more even/neck-and-neck.

I love what Roc is doing, and I appreciate that he's experimenting and pushing the sound. We need people like that. But overall I do think I've preferred WSG's production choices (at least between Rosebudd 1 to now) more than Roc's production choices.

Why does everything either have to be classic or trash.

why can't you accept it when someone has a difference of opinion. I aint goin thru here quotin people saying they liked it like "no your wrong!". I said what I said. That was how I felt immediately after listening to it while ridin around high...and getting my high blown by wackness...not averageness...not classicness. It wasn't up to par and plenty of people agreed. Deal with it or chill wit it.
