Agreed. I hate the covers too. Both of them.I'm sure the music will be solid (I hope), but the whole Hitler gimmick is played out and needs to go.
might be an unpopular opinion but I was totally fine with WSG retiring after this year. I mean I obviously wouldn’t mind him on features or hooks, and I wanna hear the projects that he and Conway did with Just Blaze and Alchemist (Hall x Nash 2) but as a solo artist he’s 1 for 3 this year, and isn’t dope enough for me to care considering how often he drops. I think his best albums are behind him, and I’d be fine just paying attention to Benny and Conway going forward.
The only WSG solo project that interests me as of now is the GunnLib album. And honestly I might get flamed for this but the 2 joints he has so far with Madlib are dope but not mind blowing

I enjoyed every Spitta project in 2020 way more than WSG’s last 2 drops. I agree Spitta overdoes it, but I still think the quality is higher.
WSG’s last 2 drops (Awesome God 2 and Sunshine) = Conway’s 2 drops in 2019 (Food 3 and Became). Both are arguably the worst sets in their catalogues. But I just don’t think WSG will bounce back in ‘21 how Conway did in ‘20.

Still one of the hardest songs from last year on part 7.
Part 7 was really dope. One of his more colorful sounding projects. He had some smooth production on there, and it was a fast project that didn’t drag. My biggest problems with it were some of the doper joints were too short, and some of the more boring joints were too long.
And I liked half of Paris a lot. But these last 2 are so weak I’m not anticipating Hermès 8 at all.
Edit: oh yeah. The Banana Yacht outro beat was stupid as fukk and no one rhymed over it.
