This might be my favorite west project tbh. I’ll take it over pray for Paris but yeah I went and listened to all of romes projectsInitially I don’t think he was credited on Draymond I heard his verse and was “who the hell is this?” Dude spazzed I’m like I need to listen to death and the magician ASAP.
This is up there with Pray For Paris for me which I felt was the best Griselda project in 2020. Again WSG deliveres and for me this is the best Griselda album of 2021. With no daringer and Alc beats this is still hard. Fall/winter is coming. These joints about to kill the seasons.
Yea this is one of the best releases of this year but my top 5 is hard to crack but this has potential. All the features killed their guest spots. Stove God has the best confidence and personality on these tracks. Dude just shines. Rome Streetz had my favorite guest spots tho. Dude reminds me of Big L in his delivery I’m sold.
Margelia split toes sounds like it should’ve been on pray for Haiti.

Jay Versace?I’m tryna remember the kids name but I think he produced on Pray for Paris
I'm definitely not a fan and I rarely hate on anyone here in The Booth, but he's one of the few. I think he's a below average producer that only got the attention and opportunities he got from his social media clout prior to making beats. Which is cool. But his fan base is super annoying and abrasive, and he comes off that way as well. I feel like he just does the laziest Roc Marci impression and grabs easy loops and literally does nothing to them.
I'm glad that West has moved away from using him since The Versace Tape.
Daringer and Rome need to work together most def. jay Versace sucks tho

I'm sounding like a hater, but Pray for Paris was 13 songs and Jay Versace only produced 1 song. I don't think that's much of an impact.
I'm glad you liked Versace Tape. I'll give it another shot. To whatever extent it's dope, I think it's by chance though. Boldy rapped over those beats on the request of WSG. He didn't pick any of the beats, and he did the job because WSG asked him. I think you can hear it in the lack of hooks, song structure, loose format, etc. Boldy is dope so he elevates the material a bit, but Brick Van Exel is the main joint on there that I go back to. It reminds me of some dope Knxledge stuff.
