I think it takes a form of humility for a previously successfull rapper to admit that the sound has shifted in the middle ground and reach out to new comers. I am a fans of Styles P, but on each of his recent albums I only like 3-4 songs. He should collaborate more with new producers JR Swift, Nicholas Craven, Big Ghost, Futurewave, Danny Laflare, Raticus, Camouflage Monk, Daringer, VDon. These guy will give him good prices just to work with him.

Pretty much agree, but at least Styles does have recent albums on his own with a good sound that isn’t predictable. Jadakiss is still trying to do the Life After Death formula.

You gotta give Gunn credit, dudes ear and eyes for talent is crazy. I never really thought about the idea of him adding other dudes as dope to Griselda and thought it'd pretty much stay the small circle it was in the beginning, but son is forming a powerhouse on some NWO shyt... just like Hall N' Nash did.

Now I need to hear a posse cut with all these nikkas over a Daringer NWO beat sample

I think West really is going to let off the gas as a rapper and really start focusing on growing the lavbel and the brand. He's got a good ear and I can see him executive producing lots of projects for different artists in the next few years. I'm sure some old school Griselda heads and some new Griselda heads that want to gatekeep are going to be annoyed about him signing these 2, but I'm all for it.

Yeah that was frustrating. They had Nottz and Large Pro on there, but for the most part it was a bunch of unknown and also not that great cats on there

I don't think we know yet. Griselda's official IG also posted a couple days ago it was dropping 9/3 then deleted it.

West said in an interview it's 17 tracks and "better than Side A" fwiw

I'm not mad at it man.

Already the crew is going their own directions. In a positive way, I think. Conway is finding his footing as a true solo artist with a good ear for talent outside of the goon lane (his Drumwork label artists are very different than more of the same street rap.) Benny is trying different things as well and has BSF. I think West will genuinely rap a lot less after Side-B of Hermes 8 drops. I think West is gonna focus a lot more on growing the brand and executive producing.

I think we'll continue to hear the core trio continue to make music together, along with Mach and Boldy. But if West wants to expand and bring lifestyle rappers like Larry and Jay into the fold, and almost have different branches of GxFR then I think that could be kind of cool. I think Conway, Benny, Boldy, and Mach are beyond feeling obligated to put artists like Jay and Larry on their projects just to appease West. It's actually been a long time since West was directly involved in putting together a Conway or Benny project anyways. Definitely not since before 2020 started.
