The entire Griselda is mid to trash. Where these niqqaz get the audacity to talk about artists with pillars in this Hip Hop shyt is crazy.
Westside Gunn is just annoying character. Whenever I mistakenly hear him he brings the song down.
I will give Conway credit for getting better but he went from being below avg to avg.
Benny the Butcher is the definition of mid. Never offensive but never amazing ever.

Compton is a dope album. Kenny and Anderson Paak did their thing on their. Two artists than run circles around Griselda talent wise.

Dr Dre is one of the most overrated producers of all time.

Daz, DJ Quick and a bunch of other producers didn't get the credit they deserve.

The Chronic and Doggystyle. Those two albums are all he has to hang his hat on.

Took me years before I got around to listening to Compton after hearing everyone saying it was trash I was hesitant. I actually liked it.

Dre is overrated imo though. Not that he isn’t or wasn’t dope especially in the sample era but it’s this perfectionism aura that has been attached to him so much so that he gets credit and praise for NOT releasing shyt.

I like Griselda lyrically and I like some of their music but I don’t like a lot of their production which is mainly what everyone raves about. They drop a project with a couple hot joints and mf’s argue up and down that the production is some next level shyt.

You got the 2nd NWA album Straight Out of Compton. Nobody really cared about the beats. Eazy E's album was better production wise. Then Cube left and that next album was meh. DOC's album was dope, but nobody was on it like that. Then he switched his entire sound up for the Chronic and Doggystyle. Death Row had a lot of hands in producing artists so it wasn't just Dre. Chronic 2001 was more like collaboration due to so many producers.

So many better producers than him. He didn't really have a distinct sound.

Gunn has blessed me with so much great music. I feel him on this even if Dre is in another stratosphere musically.

I still fukk with Satisfiction

This plus the second half of the first track was all I liked on that record. It was a major disappointment for me.

I will even admit that Dre gets graded more harshly than others, because he doesn’t give the people what they want.
But maaayne Compton was a stinker.

That album was a money grab. Dre out that shyt out, knowing his die hard fans would bump that shyt no matter what. He could have bang two aluminum cans together for 90 mins, they still would cop day 1

Well, he's right, that Compton album was garbage and made specifically to add more publicity to the Straight Outta Compton movie. It was a money grab attempt using NWA's legacy to reach a younger audience, which I think failed overall, but at the time, you had a lot of Gen-Z and young millennials, such as myself, blasting NWA's music.

I like to pretend that album doesn't exist, y'know kinda like non-canon to his career/discography, similar to that aftermath album he released in the late '90s. It doesn't take away from Dre's more prominent and notable work, but let's not act like Compton was noteworthy; it's pretty forgettable.

As far as HWH2 being classic, I don't know about all that. I like WSG every now and then, but the man thinks every release of his is classic :mjlol:.

Kill At Will is not as good as Niqqaz4Life. Amerikkka's Most a classic in it's own right so you may have an argument.
Eh, that depends. I could see why someone would prefer Kill At Will because it's Cube in his prime, and his songwriting is better than anything on N4L Production-wise, N4L wins, but lyrically speaking, Kill At Will is better :yeshrug:.

N4L isn't touching Amerikkka's Most Wanted.
