the other thing i forgot to mention is you can tag threads now with a username. its similar to the @ mention but instead of being alerted to a post you can alert someone to a thread but clicking the button "Tag Users" which is right below the quick reply box

you can see i tagged bkzson and he received a notification about the thread. could be useful if you want someone you know on here to read a certain thread

if you dont want these tagged notification you can turn them off or make it so only people on your forum threads list can alert you.

all the settings for these new features are in your user cp. at the bottom left you should see "user tagging" with a settings option
