:dahell:I said that in response to you sayin he's not Hogan/Austin the point was they all big names/HOFers that got the shot when they didn't "need" it, the gripe people have wit him that you just mentioned applied to both Hogan and Austin which was my point all 3 of them didn't need it to pad their stats and coulda main evented without it but people didn't have a problem wit it back then. I brought up Batista and HHH to show that its been done regularly thru Rumble history but people didn't start whinin about it til recently I said the same thing when people complained about those 2 winnin as well, and obviously a Rumble win for Bray would mean more for him but nobody cares about Bray Wyatt he been losin damn near every PPV match he's been in so havin him win the Rumble tellin everyone months ahead of time that he gonna main event Wrestlemania wouldn't build any anticipation shyt woulda been as much a let down for casuals as Orton winnin is for you smarks.:pachaha: They did what was best for business and went wit one of the biggest names around who hasn't been in the championship picture in a while, and I think they still prolly gonna do Orton/Cena at Mania puttin Bray in that match will be less interestin for people than another Orton/Cena cause they would need more than a month and a half to build Bray up as a legit star for the Mania main event dude been complete mid card status for the last 2 years.

Are you really not understanding how he's much more like a Batista/HHH than a Hogan and especially Austin with their multiple wins? The latter two guys were heading the two biggest eras in history and former 3 guys (including Orton) are Evolution.

As for Bray, as I stated earlier, my entire point is contingent on this Orton win being used to further their storyline. If (and only if) they're going to put Orton in a feud with Bray for Mania for the belt, it makes much more sense for a guy like Bray to get the win (since he has little to no momentum as you stated) and let Orton get the belt at EC and so they can fight at Mania. They can use the 7-8 weeks until Mania to build Bray as a legit threat to the title.

Now, (if and only if once again) if they're gonna fight for the belt at Mania, Bray (with little to no momentum) has to win it at EC. Now you have a guy who has absolutely no momentum with a belt that everybody expects/knows he's holding for Orton at Mania.

If (and only if) the end match is the same (Orton/Wyatt) one path is much more interesting than the other

Obviously, if they go with Orton/Cena the entire point above is moot and proves they just want the same old shyt with a "21st in a lifetime" Orton/Cena match. :pachaha:

As for the best for business part, let's not pretend that Orton is some major ratings/buyrate maven OR that this match in any incarnation (even with Cena) is gonna be the draw of Mania. With or without this match altogether, Mania is gonna do the normal Mania numbers.

Also :dead: @ "you smarks" when you're dedicating your time to writing paragraphs about wrestling just like the rest of "us smarks" in a wrestling forum. You ain't no better or worse than the rest of us :mjlol: Embrace it breh :demonic:

What they needed at thirty instead of Roman :

:lolbron:

Honestly, I'm no longer on that Roman hate shyt, but he needed to enter at like number 25 or something, they still could have had him be in the final four...just don't be SO damn transparent by having him be number 30....:beli:

KKKlandy....:snoop: His reward for bigotry, meanwhile, New Day getting eliminated like chumps and not even appearing on Raw for the first time in like a year the night after....:mjcry:

:francis:Obviously he's more like Batista/HHH in name recognition/star appeal than Hogan/Austin but the point is he was top 2 of his era already over and accomplished when he won his 2nd Rumble just like Hogan and Austin, and as for Bray since they already not doin it your way wit Bray winnin the Rumble/Orton winnin the belt at EC it would be best for business for them to just go thru wit Orton/Cena at Wrestlemania especially since they never fought at Mania. A Bray Wyatt Mania main event would be wack:scust:there's nothin they could do in 8 weeks to justify him bein in the biggest match on the biggest PPV.

:ufdup:Lets not pretend Orton doesn't draw and ignore him makin Vince a billionaire wit his net worth peakin at 1.6 billion durin Orton's reign as champion, again he ain't Hogan/Austin but he still a draw for them especially combined wit Cena that match will be one of the biggest draws for Mania this year cause casuals love them. And you writin way more paragraphs than me right now but I always type alot no matter the subject, and unlike yall I don't have the same textbook smark opinions on everythin (Bryan the GOAT/Styles the best thing goin/NJPW ROH >>> WWE etc) yall all share the same brain but I think more like a casual and don't even watch all that indy shyt yall do so nah I ain't a smark.:whoa:
