and I definitely wasn't ready for it, despite displaying signs up to that point of wanting to be on my own

needless to say I suffered setbacks and had a couple of stints back home until 25 when I had to leave (again, not of my own volition)

however a few years later and I'd like to think I got the game figured out, at least the bare essentials preventing any need to go back.
