you got tenants?!Left for college at 18, lived with them for 1.5 yrs after college, then moved across the country at 23
Lived with them another 1.5 yrs from 29-31 while I saved for my fourplex.
my dad went through something similar with my grandma and his sister. Long story short he was in a rough patch and couldn't go back home, my grandmother didn't want the "embarrassment of having a man come back to the house." My aunt also had a rough patch but she moved in back with my grandmother, with her two kids and she was past 30 when this happened. My parents packed my bags for me at 18, dropped me off at the dorms and my dad looked me in the eyes and said “You’re a man now”
My younger sister just moved out last year and she’s 36 with 2 kids and a husband![]()
why did you leave dade county?Left at 20 for about 9 months....came back
Left last year at 24 for good, moved to a new city (Miami ----> Denver)
I edited the post after you quoted itwhy did you leave dade county?
I moved out at 22. My kids can stay until they decide to move. But they gotta be going to school or being productive and actively saving while they living here. And until what age are you letting your kids stay with you?
I get that, but are you saying you left miami the city because of expense?I edited the post after you quoted it
Partially because of expense, partially because I needed to matureI get that, but are you saying you left miami the city because of expense?
There probably aren’t many 25 year olds with their own spot (house mortgage) nationwide breh. Don’t feel bad, the system is totally rigged against you youngins. My wife was motivated to get into a house as quick as possible and we lucked into a foreclosure 3 months after I turned 25 and 4 days before her 25th bday. We were one of the only homeowners in our circle of friends near the same age and that was over a decade ago.Left at 20 for about 9 months....came back

Mom would've let me stay as long as I wanted to, I was helping with the bills after all lol, but I needed to leave. It was certain shyt that was going on where I just felt like a perpetual teenager & needed to move away from home and become a grown man.
I been stacking my paper since I moved out here, I currently live with my cousin & split rent, but I'll probably get my own apartment by July/August. Idk any 25 year olds in Miami with their own spot
