I just took my 11 year old car to the dealership to get routine maintenance, and I was talking to the service consultant about how much longer I could drive my car. he thought 250K miles was quiet doable (I got 152K currently)
then I asked him what kinda car he got. bro tells me he's driving a 2001 whip. so even the cats at the dealership ain't trying to buy their products. why should I then?

And here’s how this works by the numbers.
If you make less than $46,000 a year, which is the national medium income, you won’t have to pay any federal income tax. And if you make up to $80,500 a year, or are a married couple making less than $161,000 per year, you get a tax cut. And it’s fully paid for with a tax on people making millions of dollars a year.

There are Honda’s and Toyota’s on the road with literally over 1 million miles on them with the original power train. Some have ~1.2 million in the world.
My wife’s Civic is at 500k miles and is waiting for it to give out to replace it. I told her she might have that car for another 500k miles. That’s LA/SD traffic too.
People will really pay $30k on cars that blow up after 100k miles. Folks will spend $200k-$300k on cars vs $40k total on two where $450k can be placed in an index fund instead which’ll convert to $10+ million over the long run.

it's crazy. my momma was a chicago public school teacher for 35 years. She retired in like 2008. she been working at a university since then for the last 17 years. so not only is she collecting a pension. but she collects my pops social security, her salary, and she is eligible for social security again from her second job. cuz teachers don't get social security cuz they don't pay in. like she could have been chilling for 17 years, but she decided to simply continue working

What job numbers? Trump killed them shyts when he fired the labor lady. The whole economy is a big scam right now just like Trump. If you want to know the real state of the economy look at the bankruptcy and foreclosure filings. They were both up in 2025 and they are increasing again in 2026.
