Tommy jeans have been good for me. There's always sales on their website and you can get them for like 40-60

Jeans are jeans imo. main concern is the cut.
Naw bro. Denim is one of the few aspects of fashion where higher price bets you higher quality in most cases. A pair of Levi’s for $50 will be decent for most but they not lasting as long as Diesel or Armani Jeans.

they probably would actually. Ignoring the example i already gave,(which you edited out)
after a certain level, jeans are jeans. In fact they might even be the same jeans. I seen video where people have shown that some of these designers basically just customize a pair a levis with their own branding and then resell them at a mark up. If a scammer can trick you into paying $400 for a pair of $50 jeans. you gotta wonder how different they are from each other.

I’m giving you a definitive answer that they don’t. I’m sure some brands do that to Levi’s, I don’t doubt it. But I gave specific brands that have premium denim that are worth it. I’ve posted about quality denim for years now.

I only quoted your first line because that was what I wanted to address for other people that will read it. The rest of your post is basically an agreement that denim quality does matter unlike most materials.

Premium denim breh. Armani, GStar, Diesel and RR RL all have button fly. Thats what I wear mostly. :yeshrug:

Quality denim is quality.:yeshrug:

Yeah for the most part but I max out at $200-ish for jeans. And then, only certain brands. All jeans aren’t the same. Sometimes you are just paying for the tag but other times, you are paying for more premium denim. I’ve gone through 3-4 pairs of Levi’s in the same wash over the years. And in that same span, my Diesel and Armani denims in that same wash are still very much in good shape despite being almost 10yrs older. Just depends. I co-sign those I just mentioned, Ralph Lauren RRL (not RL Denim or Polo) and GStar.

RL, Diesel (for denim) and in my experience, Armani Jeans (not Exchange or AX) buts its been a few years since i bought Armani since their shyt is still in good condition. Sometimes you really are just paying for a label but sometimes its the quality.

Most of us have worn denim our whole lives. Your "expertise" is really just a random opinion. I've never had an issue with my "regular priced" jeans not lasting a long time. More likely to have them become unfashionable then to have to toss a pair of levi's because they wore out. I still have jeans from highschool that i no longer wear simply because they're too baggy for me

Why did you quote “expertise” when that word was never said to be quoted? :what:

And who said regular denim doesn’t last? I said they don’t last AS LONG as the brands I gave. If yours lasted long for you, cool. You didn’t need to buy a higher quality denim. Lees and Levi’s were good enough for you. Price was never mentioned by me in here. I spoke of quality. You said “they probably would” when I gave personal experience of wearing all the type of jeans we’re talking about. Of course my opinion is random, as is yours. But I’m speaking from experience, not from expectation. If you’ve worn all types and had a different experience than that’s yours.
