Sync by 50 Wireless Sport

My favorites are the SoundSport Wireless, Powerbeats 3 , and X3 in that order. The Tone Platinum sounds good too but I only really use those at work.

Best in class noise cancellation...but there are better sounding headphones for similar/lower price ($350).

I'll primarily use these for flights so NC is my main factor.

I bought my wife a pair of Sony MDRXB950BT's for Christmas. They're quite a bit lower than your $1,500 price point, but from what i read are about the best you can get for under $300. I got them off Amazon for $150.
