The Bronx Zoo is the main NYC zoo and is a very nice zoo. Every borough has a zoo but they are small AF in comparison to the one in The Bronx.

As a kid I thought everyone from nyc was from nyc. I went to public school and cuny so when I graduated and got a job, most people there were not from nyc which surprised me a bit. Most corporate jobs I’ve had so far are usually people from the suburbs and other states. Very few nyc kids at the management level.

and I been deep in Brooklyn and the Bronx

they don't always know who's armed or not in the midwest so interactions and pleasantries have an unspoken asterisk on them.

To visit… absolutely but to live here is a nightmare. You either need a partner or really want to be here and even then, little shyt is a hassle and not worth the hustle and bustle


NY transit is the best in the world

In Manhattan! And only under ground. Otherwise, transit is a mess especially after 10pm


You don’t need a car, everything is accessible

Till you need to grocery shop or purchase a large item. Then let me know how you feel carrying a 125 lb table saw up the stairs on Alabama Ave


There is too many. NY is home but I’ll be damn if you don’t point out the crazy in this city

I remember visiting some relatives in the bronx at night for a family function and honestly it was every bit of the stereotype that I had in my head of NY at the time, and especially the Bronx.

But that was like 15+ years ago now...it's probably changed a lot since then.
