Where I lived in Canarsie, McDonalds was the ONLY store that stayed open 24/7. Most of the neighborhood pretty much shuts down after a certain time.
Where I lived in Canarsie you had to take the L to the last stop and then pay a Jamaican in 1997 Honda to drive you to the crib :sadcam:. You talking about that McDonald’s by the sea view projects?

In the Bronx most stores don’t stay open that late. By 11 they’re closed or closing. Some stay open until 2 or are 24 hour stores.

The ones that stay open clean that grill and slicer earlier and it’s over for the deli for the night. Some even close the door and only have a window where you can ask for shyt.

A. New Yorkers are rude. They can be. However the image is because when you’re in a city as dense as NYC you tend to put up a shield when you’re out in public. But once there is a reason for the shield to come down, like a tourist asks for directions then New Yorkers tend to be friendly and will go out of their way to help.

B. Subways are a crime ridden dystopia. Millions take the subway every day. There are a few hundred incidents considered major each day which is statistically negligible. Don’t get me wrong no one likes to experience some crazy guy yelling or something but the chances of something serious happening to you there is minimal

C. Crime in general. Right wing media like to hype up crime in blue cities due to an agenda but NYC has consistently been one of or the safest big cities for over 20 years.

That was another thing, I kept expecting people to be rude as hell but they were all nice. Helping when they could tell I'm lost, etc.

Low key a let down tho, I was hoping for somebody to get all pissy like in the movies :mjcry:

I didn't see a SINGLE rat either :why: but it was winter time.
People in new England make NYers look like they have Southern Hospitality. Them Jokers are rude for no reason.
