It came close to being a reality, but Shawn Marion refused to sign off on the trade.

I know it was a 3 way deal involving Boston.Originally, KG was supposed to go to Phoenix, and Marion was supposed to head to Boston(Ainge loves Marion.He drafted him back in '99).

But Marion didn't want to resign/live in Boston, so he told the Celtics to take a hike.....fukked the whole trade up
