EDIT: I strongly dislike people who talk shyt about the black community all the fukking time with out doing anything to uplift the black community.

I actually do shyt for my people and I never have said anything negative about black people(never will either). I would rather get off my ass and make a real change than sit on a forum saying black men/black men are at fault for messing the community up (that blame game isn't helping shyt).

If you not coming up with solutions or doing something for your people no matter how small don't say shyt about us.

My two cents :manny:

Somewhere in Chicago
Pro-Black, Pan-Africanism, Afrocentrcity have been appropriated by middle-upper class blacks (self included) in order to feel as if they are about the struggle (surface level) of the historical injustice of people of color;while being free to enjoy the fruits of their overworked labor in white cosmopolitan America.

Of course this baseless generalization came from the fact I watched Jungle Fever one night and found it humorous that Flipper was quick to reassure how pro-black he was, while mesmerized at the white guts he was smashing and the fact his wife to be was as fair skinned .

I'm a bit of straw grasper at times.

Pan Africanism is a worthless movement started by those whove never even stepped foot in Africa. Africans are so genetically and culturally diverse that trying to find commonality through merely skin colour would be a futile endeavour. Africans need to first resolve tribalism and ethnic superiority before we can even begin to aspire to have regional unions let alone pan Africanism.

It is very plausible, but a lot of Africans would have to let go of their tribalism (not get rid of their culture) and strong ties to their religion (not become agnostic or atheist) and learn that those who colonized Africa into different countries will put their differences aside to fukk over Africans.
