- I honestly do not feel that sorry for what happened to Trayvon Martin or Mike Brown. It's definitely fukked up what happened to them, and fukk GZ and DW, but had they taken different actions than they took on those days, they might still be alive. Neither one of them deserved to be followed and killed, but as my parents told me a harsh reality growing up in the 80s, cacs, especially cops are already looking for a reason to kill you. Do not provoke or give them a reason to justify their bullshyt. I've had about 10 different run-ins with police in my adult life, and I know for at least two of those occurrences, had I acted on my impulses, I wouldn't be here typing this right now.

- Child custody laws are bullshyt. Custody should not always automatically go to the mother. I've read everything in this thread with the back and forth with shyt men and shyt women. However, I've seen many a situation where there are decent guys who got with shyt women, had a kid, and is paying up to a rack in CS while she barely can make rent.

- People (especially black people) need to drop religion altogether.

- Beyonce is highly overrated.

- Entry-level fast food workers don't deserve $15 an hour.

Women should legally be solely responsible for children they bear out of wedlock. The whole purpose of a marriage is a statement that the man is taking responsibility for your children. You get knocked up by some random brother at the club that's on YOU. I had a friend who tried tracking down some man she had a one-nigher with 1500 miles away in NYC using just his name. Go back to that rule and I guarantee you out-of-wedlock pregnancies drop like a rock when women aren't expecting a check.

I'm not talking about morally, I'm talking about LEGAL obligations.

People who call their OOW children 'blessings' over and over on social media are probably trying to unshame themselves. Scrap the probably to be honest. If Jesus came down right now and gave them a chance to undo the 'blessings' with zero guilt nor memory, what percentage do you think would rock with that in a heartbeat?

I really don't think we as a race are any different than anyone else. But there is a definite and obvious attempt to prove to folks otherwise.

The Confederate Flag removal isn't supposed to end racism nor change minds. It's a blow to morale for those who use it to harbor racist viewpoints. I think it's worked wonderfully. Many of the folks I see and hear complain about it's effectiveness are folks I know for a fact do absolutely nothing about anything and are silent about racial issues. If we happen to get some changed minds that's a good thing and we'll take it. And plus it has exposed mad bigots.
And I've said it once and I'll say it again.....you won't go tell the Jews to stop looking at the Swastika as an evil symbol, will you? It's not ending racism...it's not changing minds......some folks just...ugh....
