What are some small fun to drive cars?

The N54 is a badass engine. I love mine in my 335.

Too bad its kinda unreliable. I mean, tuning a fairly new car is OK. But at the mileage I'm at(50K) you have to worry about the high pressure fuel pump, intake valve cleanliness, coil packs, spark plugs, etc. That's ridiculous.

It will gain dumb power with a chip or flash though.

I'm an American car guy but I don't see myself getting rid of this car for awhile.

If it were me, I'd look at the Scion FRS or Subaru BRZ.

Im a gearhead so it irks me to see the word chipped being used when a physical chips haven't been used in ecus since the mid 90's. Nothing against you

someone that knows about cars wouldn't described getting their cars "chipped" . Yes I am a domestic head and the dude said small cars so I figured affordable small cars he was looking for not4 0 plus grand bucks. Matter of fact people of the car world go off power to the wheels when modding than "crank" power. You sound like a idiot plus the dude co signing you.

U can get good power from a reflash in a GTI

100HP is kind of a stretch w/just a reflash but u put that reflash together with a downpipe + exhaust + intake, you can def see 60-80HP out of something little like a GTI

oh yeah definitely with simple intake mods but on a stock car with no kind of mods you might see 20hp-40hp unless it was a car that severely detuned from factory
