Stop complaining about your somebody always has it worse.

(When I got my first professional job and had to walk 3miles to work because I didn't have a driver's license.)

I haven't been perfect and there's so much I wish I could've done for you...but I made so many financial mistakes that I wasn't really able to recover from. Son don't rush into dumb decisions, think of the consequences before you make that said decision, and own it like a man.

(The night before highschool graduation)

You're a man now, I've tought you all I know about being the best man you could be. I can't tell you what to do anymore, but always try to do the right thing, work hard, and call ya old man every once in a while.
(First day of college)

(The day I bought my new Dodge Challenger)

My dad an African, he told me to hold on to my culture and don't let America convince that it's inferior. Right or wrong your culture is your culture. I remember thinking "Get the fukk outta here with that stupid African shyt", but it stuck with me regardless.
