This has nothing to do with Black women being educated or not, or Black women exclusively for that fact. What he said was that women, in general, aren't requiring men to be educated as a prerequisite for giving up the box.

As @Miranda so eloquently put it, they don't want geeks(not calling you two brothers that) who bury themselves in books. You can be intelligent, yet possess social skills and have a sense of style (again, not saying you gotta rock all Trues, those are for birds). Steve gets dismissed with the quick, but Stephon, who has the charm and intellect has them moist.
