I got Discover and two Capital One cards. I don't travel or anything like that, but I'm looking to start soon.

Discover has been giving me big increases, just got up to $10,500 not too long ago. I'm staying with them:youngsabo:

Capital stingy as fukk. I got a 708 FICO and 714 TransUnion/Equifax. They will not give you an increase:childplease:

So I'm trying to decide when I do get another offer, who's should I choose?

I got every credit card under the sun :win: credit A1.
I sign up for credit cards for the points then I :camby: them.
Chase Sapphire Preferred was my most recent open... payed $95... got $900 worth of points (no, not $900 worth of travel dollar... $900 straight cash.. I cashed in)

I still keep them around after just to have a high credit limit and keep my utilization low but I hardly ever use them.

I don't spend enough in my day to day for the points to mean anything after the initial sign up bonus so I don't use them. At that point, they prolly getting more from my studying and selling my spending habits than I am using their points.
All cash everything after I :camby: the cards...
Until I sign up for my next credit card with a decent sign up bonus :youngsabo: then rinse and repeat

My credit rating is 820 and they won’t give an increase. I also have literally zero debt on any credit card. Pay it down monthly to zero. But Why would they want someone to potentially add a bunch of debt and potentially not pay it back during a recession ?

Recently got an American Express for the rewards...I've only had it for 2 weeks so I haven't really seen the benefit yet but i'll report back when I do. They have 3% cash back for gas which is where i'll use it when/if i have to go back to work. 2% grocery store :ehh: I may try it here and there. Just wont keep debt on it..their APR is :picard:

A card with no annual fee.

Get the Chase trifecta if you can:

What Is the 'Chase Trifecta'? - NerdWallet

Sapphire Preferred, Freedom Unlimited and Freedom

You can transfer the points across cards.

Sapphire has a $95 fee, but you get a good intro bonus.

My credit score is 800+.
