What are the major differences between the U.S and Canada?

California has more people than Canada.. comparing USA to Canada is dumb..

But this is not about the population. So how is it dumb? This is also not about who is better. Just the differences.

yep around that price, only way you can bypass is driving to teh states and hiding so you don't get dinged.

it pretty much is, we get all your tv channels, entertainment, the majortiy of canadas population is like a 2 hr drive away from the states, but we don't have the violence, the poverty, the racism as much as you guys.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. If I ever get the chance I will go though. I'd like to see the Canadian winter, although its damn cold, but I love snow and the winter time so it would be nice to see.

The 1st chick I ever fukked raw was Canadian. She was from Ottawa. I also had a close friend that was from Ottawa. He was African but grew up out there and the things he told me about it always made me wanna go see it.

If I get the chance I would try to go to Ottawa. Maybe Toronto. I also had a lot of Asian friends from Vancouver, seems like a cool city to visit too. They say its not as cold in Vancouver but it rains a lot? That what I've heard.

All major cities are filled with minorities while the rest of the country is 99% white

hockey is what college football/basketball is to the usa
people take pride in whatever hick town they come from
maple syrup is better
everything is more expensive than the states you have a dollar menu at mcdonalds we have a 1.39 menu.

Min wage is much more than the states
court system si different and follows british law
we are part of the commonwealth
we have a human rights code and a human rights tribunal
we have a charter
its hard to get a gun
more liberal
car insurance much more expensive
college and university are much cheaper as they are subsidized.
Certain parts of canada people just speak french
can drink alcholol at 19
liquour is not sold in convience stores/supermarkets in Ontario but in certrain places in canada it is
you can gamble on sports at a convience store cant in the states.

US has more competitive phone plans/internet plans etc.

We say pop - US says Soda

We say highway, they say Freeway

the winters in toronto are mild, new york city chicago etc. get it much worst.

The coldest i ever felt was in nova scotia by the ocean i thought i was going to die .


Ottawa is aiight .

I've been living in London for 13 years. Trust, I'm used to it.

But yeah, I heard they have a big Asian population out there. I'd love to visit. shyt, I wouldn't mind living out in Canada for a couple of years if I could get the right visas/work permits. Plus I speak French fluently too so I could live in French Canada too, without a problem.
