The postal system in Canada is really expensive. I sell cassettes/CDs/records online and postage is often cheaper or on par with mailing something to the USA. We don't have Saturday delivery, flat rate boxes, or media mail either. Shipping internationally is a whole other story. It's not even worth the effort

I was going to book Miami or Cali, but flights were over $900. I have lots of friends in NYC & hadn't been in a year (which is a very long time for me!), so I went. It wasn't even that cold (until the Thurs night snow storm).
