Yeah it’s overwhelming. You may want to wait until tomorrow and start with The Plugs I Met by Benny. All the numbers and abbreviations don’t help. Tana Talk 3 is Benny’s official debut and if you like bars, storytelling hustler raps, then that’s definitely where to start.*takes notes*
been getting into them more lately, few joints here and there....don't know where to start
I never heard of it. Daps and rep.
Same goes for the Conway and Imported Goodz EP. that was short and sweet too.
My First Brick was the first Benny project I heard and it’s still pretty underrated I think.
It really did sneak in out of nowhere and Conway himself didn't even push it out there like that. I dunno what's up with that but it's well worth a spin my dude.

No doubt. Conway has such a narrow lane with the mega-goon murder raps, and not enough humor or light-heartedness for him to drop music as frequently as he does. He's probably caught 300 bodies just since GOAT dropped. NY style goon rap will always be my favorite type of rap but Conway's shyt is so relentlessly dark that it really has to be fall/winter or I have to be in a certain mood to listen to it. I wish he'd try some different production that's not so overly menacing al the time...like Piper, Sky Joint 2, and Fork in the Pot. I also wish he'd do more tracks like Proud of Me where he speaks on his life a little more.
For @Crumple in case you haven't heard I'm posting that song and also The Cow in case you never heard that one, which is easily the best thing Conway has recorded.
That was the first project of theirs I heard. Then someone (maybe you) told me to check out the back catalogue and I did. But that was the first one I heard from front to back. Chyna is such a hard opener.im very proud of my board that Dont Get Scared got mad mentions. i thought that would get shut out honestly
100% all of this. Yeah the only time I’d really want to listen to WSG with headphones would be to listen to the production intricacies since I’m a beat nerd.
He definitely works better as car music or music in the house.
I’m a little surprised you enjoyed it as much as you did if that’s your first exposure to him. He’s kind of an acquired tasteand I have to be in a certain mood to listen to him, but he definitely makes the most of his skills.
Since Evidence is in your avatar I actually think they are similar in that they’re good executive producers. Ev is one of my favorite emcees and I think he’s criminally underrated as a solo artist. But Ev is open about knowing what his weaknesses are and downplaying then while accentuating his strengths. WSG does the same. They both pick excellent production, use a perfect amount of features, sequence track orders very well, etc. WSG might not make beats like Ev does but I still kind of think of him as a “producer-rapper.”
And to answer your question I like Blientele a lot. I don’t like it as much as I like his first official album (Flygod) but it’s a great follow up
Oh and Griselda’s in-house producer Daringer is contributing to Ev’s next album.

You're not that late man. In fact in the grand scheme of things with where he's head I'd even say you're probably still early. Technically his first technical album is barely 6 months old, and he's on an upward trajectory.Props breh
I'll check out Flygod for sure, if that's his best project
And Tana talk 3 is dope, dude is a real spitter - reminds me of Vol 1-3 era Hov but with more multis and punchlines
Definitely one of the most impressive rappers from this new gen. Can't believe I was so late on him![]()
