unfortunately the way the system works doesn't allow for you to steal other peoples smileys. the software turns all personal smileys into a .gif and when you save someone elses it gives it the white background

i renamed the smiley suggestions thread we had to "smiley database" hopefully people put the OG version of their smileys in there so others can use them..or just hit the person up

There's ways around that BK....
You just right-click on the smiley and go to properties. From there, you copy the URL and paste it in a new window. Then you save the image to your computer or you can just keep it opened in the new window. And finally you can upload like normal.
