Great Performer... Not too sure on that rear end though. Of course my opinion doesnt hold any weight because compared to what i'm driving now the M5 is god like.

But still

Not a fan of the 5-series. I don't have gray hairs on my nuts yet.

My uncle had one for a minute.

That V10 is fast as shyt on the top end. Its a monster past 100mph. Sounds great too.

Problem is, the transmission is garbage for anything resembling driving around town. And its a heavy ass car with no torque. Its a pain to drive like a normal car.

Its maintenance intensive too but that comes with the territory.

Overall, it was good for its day but they fixed a lot of its problems with the new one. I'd rather own a CTS-V. All the performance without the headaches.

THE SMG transmission is a bytch to fix and replace.

That car drinks gas like nothing and the tank is pretty small so youll be filling up twice a week.

I'd rock an E60 M5 easy (Manual only though). Gorgeous in Alpine white, and my only realistic shot at owning a vehicle with 10 cylinders:wow:

Truthfully I would rather roll the dice on an old Viper

Same gas mileage, better platform, different but less severe issues. Old ones are prob cheap too

The whole E60 range was kinda  They went too techno like Jay on BP3. Fiber optic harness :why:

Older M5s are the way to go. Any of em

Dawg the maintenance

No torque, shytty transmission, shytty gas mileage, kind of unattractive rear-end, will cost an arm and a leg in maintenance.

Skip it.
