Really?

What in particular about it?
I work with a lot of older people in my office and the way that they complain about the pains they go through scares me lol. Plus the fact that i haven't had a baby yet and the complications that can happen the older you get. I look young for the most part, my body is okay, im healthy and am tryna work on my fitness more, but somethings it seems are just inevitable.

My athletic history...

When I tell people all the famous atheletes I used to play with... they always say "well what happened to you?" :martin:

I tell them it was because of my knee surgeries but real talk... I don't think I was ever as good a basketball and football player as I thought I was (still the GOAT in track and soccer tho).

To this day I cannot watch a football/basketball/soccer game without being like "I woulda hit that shot/scored that goal/made that tackle" And having all my friends be like... :duck:. And then I start retelling high school/college stories like I'm living in the glory days. I'm 28 years old, I just need to accept that the dream is over. I'm never gonna run a 4.5 again or have a 38inch Vert again. Ever...:mjcry:

I guess its because sports was how I defined myself for the majority of my life. Now I'm just an IT nerd. I will never play a professional sport... that reality hurts me to my core.

Oh and my parents love but... being African and all that... our parents don't show emotions :birdman:

This is a common one. Things start creaking and popping that didn't use to pop, places hurt that you didn't even know exist LOL

I remember when I was really young I used to think 30 was so old and couldn't imagine myself that age. Now that I'm closer to 40 than 30, I feel like I'm just hitting my stride. I've become more self-assure, for real.
:ehh: Very positive way of thinking, i like that alot.

If it was only in the thigh and ass region then all you have to do is hit the treadmill. Clean bulk - Increase your protein and start running. If your joints are bad try flaxseed oil capsules from Barlean's or their fish oil. Don't dirty bulk which means don't load up on carbs like Mac and Cheese and bagels and shyt. That will lead to :flabbynsick: what you want is Serena Williams not Pinky

I already take Barlean's Omega products and I also take New Chapter Omega oils too.

I'm definitely going to avoid bulking. I started eating clean and I dropped pounds and now I'm adjusting my eating habits and doing meal preps. I'm not that good of a cook so most likely I'm going to hire a chef to prepare my meals for me.

Even though I like Serena, I like a more softer body build.

Thanks for the advice.

Lately
  • Hair Loss
  • Premature Greying of my hair

These are easy. Shave your head bald and embrace the gray. I just got my first two grays on the corner of my jaw (I'm 29) when the beard grows and my Woman went crazy, she loves it (she's not American though so factor that in). I don't grow my beard out usually though cause it's too much of a pain to keep from itching. I'd have to exfoliate like every fukkin day ain't nobody got time for dat. Easier to just shave every 3 days or so.

If it looks good on you it really doesn't matter. Hopefully you don't have a cone head, if so they are coming out with new hair treatments every year getting closer and closer to actually ones that work. But I would recommend experimenting with a chinese herb called Ho Shou Wu/He Shou Wu AKA "Fo Ti Root". It has been used for over 2000 years to rejuvenate Men's hair follicles. Also helps libido as a nice secondary effect. Make sure you get the "prepared" version the raw one is not as effective and can be harder on the liver. Only buy from Amazon or iHerb and a reputable company with 4 stars or more.

As far as the grey hair goes ive always had them. Ive had grey hairs when i was 19 for Chris' sake. Yeah you read that right. Some even say i had them at 16 but i couldnt see them at the time. Runs in the family to grey up early.

But now the sh!t is all in my beard. While women love it, i tend be insecure about it.

  • Premature Greying of my hair

Bruh I've been grey since like 16 and now its heavy in my beard and goatee (thats me in my avi)

Embrace it breh, also once you start to get your body right, you'll feel much more comfortable with it....well I did anyway. I still color it from time to time just to mix it up but most women love grey hair on a black man in decent shape.
