I still find it amazing that they recorded this shyt without being in the studio with each other.

One person would come along and record part/play an instrument

then one person would come along days/weeks later and listen to it, drop vocals and play an instrument

then another.....

they did this for the entire Deja Vu album (except for "Woodstock").


I always use the song/album in groups/family/at work as an example of how we dont even have to be around each other or get along. as long as we all play our part and contribute to the whole, shyt will turn out lovely.


However, when I do, I get hit with the "euggh! Why you listening to this ole white folks music anyway!? dun nobody wanna hear that shyt! :what:"
