yeah, they would play whole albums.;
tool is one of those on release day take up the whole radio programming for like twenty four hours on loop as the whole album replaying.

it used to happen with any real influential group on a release day no matter the genre back then on college radio for sure in its segments.
hpk would be the whole ultra mag album on release day.
pete rock whole album etc.
mjb my life whole album spins on numerous stations...

shyt was glorious and tool was the only ones on throwback type shyt where in that new decade they honored them with the whole album spins.
