I came across her "Ice King" version with Nas...Then I heard her album, it's a personal favorite of mine
I wore this cd out when it came out, Res's "How I do" and Raphael Saadiq's" Instant Vintage" were two highly slept on albums for the early 2000's .I saw her with the Roots my favorite live band to listen too at the House of Blues.
