What do you mean by GMO weed?

I'm puzzled by what people mean by "GMO Weed" because I've been smoking weed since I was 13 and I'm 41 now and quite glad that there's a variety of good weed of various levels of THC as opposed to the backyard boogie and Clown Tears Kush that was available in my youth.

If you're complaining that the weed is too strong you might just want to smoke less of it, which is a complaint I hear from a lot of my contemporaries.
