Serious thread, no :troll:

Disclaimer: I'll be honest, for a while I was skeptical that humans had anything to do with the climate change we are currently experiencing. At this point, however, it seems futile to deny it. So before we begin, global warming deniers this is not the thread for you. If you disagree with the theory that mankind is contributing to the gradual increase in climate....great...but again, this aint the thread for you.

Moving on, what are YOU willing to do to help the situation? Stop driving? Turn your AC off? Turn your heat off? Stop flying? Stop taking 2 showers a day? Stop supporting companies that are among the worse offenders?

The full extent of my contribution to deterring global warming is:

1. Recycle bottles and cans
2. Set my AC to 75 when no one is home during the summer
3. Swapped out all my regular light bulbs for the energy saver ones

Aside from that I can't be bothered to do more...besides I'll be dead before the ozone layer disappears and the oceans start to boil.

All the stuff I do to be more environmentally friendly is more to protect my wallet than to protect the planet.

It just seems hypocritical that some of the largest crusaders for global warming awareness are Americans who, by definition, are the most wasteful motherfukkers on the planet.

Dont talk about it...be about it.

You cant stop global warming. The damage is done. Its not like its just 20 years of the shyt we've been doing. Its ever since coal started getting burned which is 2-300 years ago. Nothing we can do but wait for scientist to come up with a solution. And the solutions and things you guys are saying your doing to stop it is absolute nonsense. Turn off the AC? nikka thats for your electric bill, stop taking 2 showers a day? Thats the filtration system. Global warming is about the burning of fossil fuels and we hardly even burn coal anymore. What we do know for heat is use natural gas. Thats a problem you should be focusing on. The fact dudes are fracking and fukking up peoples water.

I think slowly the same ideas of 'sexiness' that developed with internal combustion engines will be replaced in cars

like earlier people wanted to hear bikes go vroom vroom and thump, now it'll be sexy for a powerful bike to whip past totally quiet
