I'm African American and Puerto Rican. Adopted so I assume that my dad's parents are straight from PR and my mom's fam is from down south like most AA's...

My adopted fam straight southerners. Grand mom full blooded creek Indian and grand dad's a panhandle Floridian black. I was raised by brown skin people so luckily I avoided that light skin is superior mentality.

We all live in Philly, NYC, Boston, Panhandle Florida or Mobile, AL.

Black American with grandparents who grew up in Alabama and Mississippi and relocated to Toledo, Ohio during the great migration on my mom's side, dad's family is Black Guyanese who reside mainly in NYC, Atlanta, and Montreal/Toronto but I have family scattered everywhere among them

My maternal grandfather was from Dominica, but he moved to Antigua ... my family is from there, but I'm first generation American. I was born in New York ...

Texas and Louisiana culture. The basics not talking about whats in my blood.
