What are your favorite African Diasporic foods?

I'm a big fan of Jerk Chicken and coco bread sandwiches.

I like Jolof Rice alot

And I can eat collard greens by themselves with nothing else.

I'm African and I don't get to try much African food. however my fav is still Caribbean. i have no pride when it comes to giving props to the brehs. Trini and Jamaican mostly

In the last few years i've tried some Haitian meals and they are also good, picklese, djon djon.... haitian patties >>>> I like their variations of some of my other Caribbean favs.

The west african restaurants here are elusive. I have had soul food many times but would not consider any of it authentic

My fav Kenyan meals were mostly taken from India

However we do bbq goat very well and make our famous blood sausage. that shyt is fire.
