I don't know about this. Even if it did outperform it, the fees on mutual funds are higher than index funds and ETFs.

My best ETFs I am invested in: VGT (Vanguard IT Index Fund)- this fund grew 48% last year and has already grown about 10% so far this year.

Do you guys have accounts at multiple brokerages? I only have an account at one for my Roth, but I want to start investing more. Should I stick with Vanguard our open account somewhere else? Is this an all your eggs in one basket situation?

if youre already with vanguard, might as well stick with them and maybe open a seperate brokerage account from your roth so you can do a lil more with it

i have my IRA with vanguard, but i had another small brokerage account with another company that i'm using for additional investments. i may eventually move it over to vanguard tho for consistency
