I know we typically shyt on bad analysts calling games...but what about the ones who make a great call which captures the moment?

I think my all time favorite call was the 49ers radio guy Lon Simmons when Steve Young made that run against the Vikings.

Dude seemed to have seen the beauty of what was happening way before Steve scored the game winning TD.

I could probably just post a bunch of Gus Johnson clips but I'd be here all day.

I could also post a bunch of MLB clips but I can't find them

No shots at Reb, but this one was the most recent that came to mind just off jokes.

That Barton ending was one of the best of the decade, for sure.

You can find almost any MLB clip on MLB.com...but you gotta do some FBI-type research once you're in there (team, date, etc.). It's pretty ridiculous.

They need to make it way more accessible & user-friendly if they're gonna own everything like that. I'm sure it'd increase traffic to the site, too.

dikk Enberg's call during the NFL's greatest shootout when the Jets beat the Dolphins in that 86' thriller
1986 Dolphins-Jets (Part 15) - YouTube

"he's going for it all....to Walker....touchdown!!! OH MY!!!!"

The best part was with the players and crowd going nuts, he stayed quiet giving you a chance to capture the moment, unlike these clown announcers today that want to talk their way through it.

I'M TALKING TO YOU MICHEAL KAY!!!!!
