i studied business finance...but i dropped out. its not that hard...just gotta know how to analyze data. read spreadsheets n shyt.
depending on what you're buying and for what industry...pay starts off around 25k a year and normally tops out around 75k a year. i've been doing it for about 3 years now.
i work for a procurement and supply chain management. thats my goal, to move up to buyer. i was told by a previous buyer that i dont really need college as long as i show im intelligent enough to learn the necessary computer skills.
right now tho they have me managing the receiving department for a client. i only been here a year and a half but i already got promoted to manager and got a nice little raise. my cac bosses love me so ima give it another year of solid work before i broach the subject of becoming a buyer.
