I don't know about that. I've seen writers on the left promote secession, a leftist shoot a conservative congressman, and several leftist riots turn bloody. I think there are factions on both sides of he aisle who wouldn't mind a civil war, but I don't know how you can tell who "wants it more". Or why that matters.

This is true, but I don't think it proves the point that "the right" on the whole wants to actually fight another one any more than "the left".Edit: And why does who wants it more matter? Does it make one group (or faction of a group) morally superior if they only "kinda want it", but the opposition "really wants it"? I think the vast majority on either side do not want a civil war. And I'm with them.
