I f*cking hate it when people lick their fingers when they're done eating. Like they just got done eating edible Elmers glue or some sh*t. How about you use a napkin or wash your hands like an adult?

People who tailgate me when I'm driving especially at night and they have bright headlights. Ok cool, I'll come to a complete stop just so you get the fact that I'm not going to speed just because you're in a rush.

Especially that shyt is so annoying. I try to avoid it as much as possible, but I dont want to be rude about it. For example, I see this one dude everytime I go to this bar. Everytime I see him the first thing he say is " yo you remember that time..." nikka yes I do, this is the only time we had any connection, other then that, I DONT KNOW YOU GTFO of my face

i dont know if i should consider it a pet peeve but i get seriously fukking annoy when put say that they know somebody who was involved in such in such. for example some dude actually told me about how a friend of his was involve in teaching (astrophysics), he held this guy in such high regard that he would randomly throw that in my face, when discussing such topic.

it wasnt until, i ask on a college campus about a question i ask him which i pose to a professor and the professor schooled me on how wrong he was.

its like if tho you may know people that are involve in whatever. it doesnt make that person a fukking super genius they could be wrong to.

I think, on some level, that this is the silliest and most unrealistic piece of advice that anyone could give. This is a perfect example of the inner-logic of Western society, which is individualistic by nature.

To argue that one shouldn't care what other people think, is to live under the illusion that you can be an island unto yourself; that it is possible for you to be an "individual" within a society. This logic is illogical given the fact that you are a person within community and the degree to which your existence within the community is harmonious is in direct relation to how other people think of you. How others think of you influences, for example, if you will get the job or not, if they will support your cause or not, if they will buy your product or not, if they will date you or not, and the list goes on.

Because you cannot acquire and create all of the material and spiritual needs by yourself, you must depend on other human beings for your bare necessities. Whether they will help you out or not depends, ultimately, on what they think of you.

To claim we don't care what others think, is to go against what it means to be human. We all, as human-beings, want to be acknowledged by our community and to know we are valued within the community. If the community has a negative evaluation of you, this directly affects your self-esteem. Esteem means "worth" or "value." Our self-esteem refers to our beliefs about our value, our value to our families, our friends, community and the world at large. You cannot have healthy self-esteem without considering what other people think of you; your perception of their valuation of you.

It's not that you don't care what ANYBODY thinks. What you really mean to say is that you don't care what DUMB people think. Wise and sagacious people, you care what they think because they are more likely to provide advice and direct you to resources that can help make you to be a better person and/or help you to fulfill your purpose. So don't say ANYBODY when you mean DUMB ASSES; because we value the opinions of people who we believe have high value in our lives, in various ways.
