Firstly, congrats to all those looking to evolve and have fun this summer. I hope everything goes well and all your goals/desires come to fruition for you all.

My goals are to travel, get in better shape, build wealth and sell the screenplay I wrote with my writing partner. In pursuing these goals, I have to also build discipline; something that will be beneficial to me going forward as I look to level up.

Honestly, you've done a great thing; already writing a complete work. Don't over edit. Be proud of where you stand.

Let it breathe and come back to it.

You definitely need a second pair of eyes. Someone that reads is always best but more importantly you need the trust that they won't drag their feet with what works and doesn't.

I've adopted a quote from a writer I can't recall "Welcome, welcome." It allows me to write without editing right away.

Because of a difference between what is written and what is in my head my stories take a long time to complete.

I'm writing a fantasy thriller. I lean towards crime and supernatural so this is a good mix for me. When I did my ghostwriting we worked on a crime series. It turned out quite well, the book launch was great.

What genre is your story?

Oh I love this. Thank you. Honestly, I've been re-editing, and rewriting, over over again. It was finished in January, but tell me why, since then, I've rewrote the ending several times and I'm still not satisfied. I feel like, I'm just a perfectionist. I try to just write first(which is what I've done) and then edit. But it's during this editing process that I started to just rewrite things I didn't like. I feel like it's become never-ending, I wonder if I'll ever finish it, sadly. I just need to get over myself, ya know?

My genre is supernatural/paranormal/romance. I lean toward paranormal(witches, vampires, werewolves, creatures with powers) fantasy, & romance, so this is what my novel is focused on.

It's cool to meet another writer on here. Who do you send your stories to(as a second pair of eyes)? I really need to tap more into the writing community in my city, I'm not tapped into it.

Have y'all looked into Pitchwars?:jbhmm:
