In San Diego, last September, we had a 12 hour blackout, city wide, shyt was like a horror movie or something, I remember I was jogging, and all the street lights were out, and I didn't think anything of it, then I saw people standing outside condos, because the electric key fobs weren't working, getting home, everything was off in my place. An hour later people are standing outside, barbecuing, with battery powered radios, I took a walk all over downtown, shyt was eerie, no lights anywhere.

Started thinking about the value of things, money, almost useless in an emergency. Traffic was gridlocked all over, stranding people for hours and hours. People were stuck in high rises. People are crowding connivence stores for water and groceries, I bought candles from some little kids on the street. Cell phone service was mostly down, I lit the candles, and fell asleep, hearing the radios from outside, in and out, when I woke up, at like 1230 am, all the lights came on at once, I was over it, turned that shyt off and fell back asleep.
