If you asked me this question when i was a Christian i would probably tell you they were sinners and going to hell, but now that i am an atheist i see no reason to have any animosity towards gay people. Now transgender people i think suffer from a mental disorder similar to schizophrenia and should seek help before they decide to switch gender ( i still do not hate them though). Neither gay people or transgenders should be killed or persecuted to a point were they become suicidal.

I have no problem with people's sexual orientation but I hate people who lie about their preferences and/or the lifestyle they are living.

I also loathe the amount of deviancy that has become normalized in American culture.

attaching 'phobia' to these deviant behaviors is just a fun little word game. Nobody is scared of homos and trannies. They just don't want this behavior promoted and celebrated in society.

I would have to disagree. I don't think everybody who has an issue with homosexuality is "homophobic", some people are just fukking a$$holes or brainwashed zealots.

But a really good friend of mine, actually is homophobic, and I would postulate that a lot of people are as well to varying degrees. This nikka is a big, body builder type that should have no problem protecting himserlf from most men. I have seen this man almost walk into oncoming traffic to cross the street to get away from two approaching trans women. in HS he picked on a gay kid and even followed him home from school only to find out the nikka had like 10 brothers and sisters that weren't going to let him pick on their brother just because he liked to wear french tips to school.

20 some odd years later we're chopping it up downtown and here come two queens, I didn't even notice them until I saw him in the middle of the street looking like he saw a ghost. It would almost make more sense if he just reacted violently but he tranced the fukk out and almost got hit by a car out of visceral fear. He picked on that kid out of fear, because there was some rumor that he had a crush on him and he felt it made him look bad.

That's not societal concern or moral righteousness, that is irrational, unconscious fear and conditioning toward homosexuality on display.

I think you have a right to disagree with it but not a right to try and suppress it. If a grown man or woman wants to live that lifestyle it doesn't bother me.
