Your dreams

I have been reading the Dune Messiah for years.... I feel like reading on would possibly ruin the sad perfection of the Dune Messiah for me.

When Paul sees the vision of the moon falling out of the sky... (sigh/cry)

Children of the dune was so-so for me, maybe coz I read it as 13 year old...

Your dreams
Fixed that for you.

For me it is one of the greatest love stories ever told:
- Pauls non hoeing character.
- No pages long sex scenes.
- Paul and Chani's interactions.
- Pauls vision of the moon fallling out of the sky...
- Paul going out into the desert after Chani dies...
- My favourite genre...

Sigh/sob sob.

Read 20% of this book in one sitting last night. It is definitely well written and pushing the idea of deliberate practice further than I expected given how much it's been covered by other authors. I guess it is worth stating that Anders is the originator of all of this Deliberate Practice talk but I'm surprised that he managed to find nuance and push the topic into fresh new ideas and analogies that hit home so much better than prior authors.

Recently reread this book I already own. I had a specific task in my mind, so I just revisited 4-5 of the relevant chapters
