What can the average American right now realistically do with a one time $1200 check?

If they lucky (still have a job and no debt) put it to the side until the next crisis.

Half is going to my emergency account the other half going to my investment account. I don't even know if i'm going to have my 9-5 a month from now.
Don't worry if you get laid off you'll get an extra 10Grand !!!

I said I don’t need the money now

I’m still working and I am receiving 100% of my salary. The folks who are not working have the biggest needs obviously. So no I don’t need the money now.
What kind of nikka doesn’t need money “now” lmao wtf

You acting like you will be taking something from the people not working :dahell:

wtf are you talking about? my comment is clear as day. the people who are unemployed are the ones who should get help first. i don't fall in that category so i am not in dire need of the 1200. am i gonna turn down or give away the money? obviously not, that's stupid. but there is nothing wrong with pointing out that some people need the money a lot more than others. i am still getting my full salary so i am not one of the ones who have to make hard choices now and feel stressed about when the check is gonna hit. seems very simple to me.

People getting excited over this measly $1200 one time TAXABLE check or thinking anybody needs to be grateful for it has a poverty mindset. It's that simple. Nobody used to having shyt thinks $1200 is life changing money. I don't even live lavish and $1k is about what I pay per month in basic utilities alone. Not even mentioning mortgage, grocery and other monthly incidentals.

Can't believe how many people I'm seeing acting like anyone questioning this paltry lil check needs to either refuse the money or STFU and bow down to the government.

And stop saying the shyt is "free money". It's only free money if yo ass lives off government assistance and don't pay taxes of any kind.
