Exactly. I haven't seen anything so far that proves it can't work. And their starting pg hasn't even played yet. Somebody just slap Josh across the back of his head next time he shoot more than 4 3's in a game, and I think they'll get the to's down as they get more familiar and they'll be alright.

Because that frontcourt won't be big enough for the three of them. This is the same shyt with the Durant/Westbrook/Harden situation. If Monroe doesn't get traded, he'll leave in free agency when a team throw the max at him.

If you think Smoove will improve his shot selection and decrease his TOs, you're in for a rude awakening before the end of the season.

You think that's gonna stop him? :pachaha:

There are gonna be a lot more 7-23 nights from Smith this season. It was a ridiculous signing when Dumars made it, but that was no surprise because Dumars is horrific with free agent signings. They will not be able to financially keep Smith, Monroe and Drummond.

It's only 2 games, but they're averaging 51ppg, 30rpg, 5spg and 4bpg as a trio, excellent production from their frontcourt they need better guard play which is the real sore spot for them.
Once KCP starts, they'll have the best rebounding starting lineup in the league.

Who would give Monroe the max like that?

And there is no way or reason the Pistons break up that front court. No way.

It would be insanely dumb to move either Monroe or Drummond.

They have to, at this point that don't have much choice. Blame your dumbdumb ass GM for that shyt.

Monroe didn't receive an extension yesterday (as expected), which was the deadline. He'll become a free agent, a team will throw the max on his table and there's a 90% chance the Pistons won't match. I mean there's just about every single factor pointing to the fact he'll leave (either through trade or FA) and none indicating he'll stay.
