What career would you do if not your current career?

But on a serious note some shyt in tech that pays me 200k+ a year working 40 hour work weeks. I’d save that shyt and get into property units so I can “retire” in 10 years or at least work part time (5 hour days).

I’d be doing something involving history; maybe be a history professor or something at the local college. History is and was always my favorite subject; US History at that. If the pay was better, I’d do it. I was blessed when it came to mathematics, so I figured I should just get in where I fit in and get this money

Politics. Even with the field I’m in now I still hope some day to make my way into politics somehow. I’m always keeping up with current events and reading about countries, cultures, social issues, etc.

I always think to myself if I could just be a politician or be the guy sitting in the Oval Office that I could actually make a difference…I hate the defeatist attitude that politics and politicians are so corrupt that it’s pointless to try to make a difference. Things are the way that they are because of that attitude. Who knows, maybe I’m just naive and every politician at some point felt the way I do and then got the optimism beat out of them by reality. But maybe I’m different? Maybe I’m not? I’ll never know until I actually try and I think about that a lot.

Work your own hours? No you are working sun up until sun down if you want to make a living off that.
