Men are visual creatures by nature. We see a beautiful woman and they usually have our full attention and desire. We do what we can to try and seal the deal with her. When you want a dog to like you, don't you pet it and give it treats? What makes this so hard with women is that they defy logic and are backwards as hell. Being nice and friendly with them only makes them desire you less. Truthfully most of these men aren't "simps" they're just regular fukking human beings. Men desire sex, women desire attention. However men aren't as picky about getting sex as women are about getting attention.
