How does one becom entitled. Dig deep no buzz words

In regards to women, easily thru how American society puts such heavy emphasis on them maintaining their purity thru virginity without their say so, yet masking them as invalid children in regards to concrete decision making, whether it historically be thru them not being eligible to vote or the current morality squabbles involving abortion rights.

You could say entitlement is taught subtle throughout society that men are better suited to make decision for women. And when they don't comply, we go out our way either thru legislation , guilt tripping, shaming or domestic violence to silence their humility and belligerency.

When you see a particular group of people start to behave like animals it tends to raise an eye brow. Kind of like how women have been calling men dogs for decades when a certain type of woman is called out for her actions society will interpret that or chose to paint it as misogyny.

Elaborate

Our generation grew up being told if they acted like Corey Matthews, they'd find a Topanga. Guys grow up, find out its complete bullsh*t and they get bitter about it. After a certain amount of breakups or rejections or fukked up interactions with the opposite sex, they've lost whatever kindness they used to have. Some guys can work through it and get back to a healthy state. While other guys let it consume them and they turn into misogynists.

People should understand that misogyny and sexism are related, but are not the same thing. Sexism is a general belief that one gender is superior to another. Misogyny is active prejudice against women. It’s a byproduct of sexism and most often goes hand-in-hand with it, but someone can be sexist without being misogynistic. Misogynoir is a term coined to describe a form of misogyny specific to black women.

Sexism causes misogyny, so if you want to get rid of that then you need to get rid of the idea that one gender is superior to another. Or, at least, get rid of the idea that men are superior to women.

The reason that’s so hard to do is because most, if not all, the world’s societies have been build on that belief for so long that it’s influenced just about everything that we do and see, from the media we consume to the way we interact with each other. Thus, it takes so many different forms in ways most of us – especially men, since we suffer less from misogyny than women do – don’t even think about.

The added element of anti-black racism in concert with sexism and misogyny is what causes misogynoir. To solve that, not only do you need to dispel society of the notion that women are inferior to men, you also need to get rid of the idea that black people are inferior to white people. Once again, that means a fundamental change in how white people view and interact with black people.

If you believe that misogyny and misogynoir are problems in society, then there are a bunch of different things that can and should be done. But it all ultimately just boils down to simply treating women as equals to men, and black people as equal to white people, and reflecting that belief on all levels – culturally, economically, and politically.
