As mentioned the best rates are when you reach 760. I'm between 780 - 800 and it fluctuates.

High credit isn't what its cracked up to be, if you're black..

They look at so much shyt besides the score, like debt to income ratio and credit balances to available credit ratio..

If they want to screw you over, even with your prestigious credit score, they'll find a way..

age of credit accounts too. I still have my first CC with a limit of 500.00 because the account is 8 years old. I got offers for better cards not long after.

I'm young and haven't had my credit that long so I won't get there for awhile. I hear you get more hoes once you reach 800 tho.:mjcry::lupe:
doesn't take too long. i got my first cards freshman year in college, by the time i graduated my scores were in the 700s.

Nothing... because you keep doing the same things that got you there: not overspending, living beneath your means, delaying gratification... stuff like that. Those are the things that make you rich and those are the things that raise your score. The difference is you care less that your score is high because you actually have money and don't need to borrow much anyway.

Why Have They Not Raised Your Limit In 8 Years Though? Your Score Coulda Got A Bump Without Having To Sign Up For Another Card

It was a secured card. I had to pay 50.00 for a 200.00 limit. I didn’t have credit then. They raised the limit every so often, but after the first year I got offers for cards with 1500.00 limits and so on and so forth.
Secured cards are good way to built credit if you don’t have it. Good for young people.
